The Ford Explorer is a full-size crossover SUV sold in North America and built by the Ford Motor Company since 1990, as a replacement for the smaller but related Ford Bronco II. It is manufactured in Chicago, Illinois (it was also assembled in Hazelwood, Missouri until the plant closed on March 10, 2006). The Ford Explorer was instrumental in turning the SUV from a special-interest vehicle into one of the most popular vehicle types on the road. It is marked as Ford's only mid-sized SUV and is slotted between the larger Ford Expedition and the smaller Ford Escape. Though the Ford Escape is a crossover and the Expedition and Explorer are traditional SUVs, Ford considers all three vehicles to make up their "SUV" portfolio. Their "crossover" portfolio consists of the Ford Flex and the Ford Edge.
The Explorer has also been involved in controversy, after a spate of fatal rollover accidents involving Explorers fitted with Firestone tires. Both two-door Explorer Sport and four-door models of Explorer have been sold. Part-time four-wheel drive is an available option, and since 1995 this has been a 'shift on the fly' system with full protection against being engaged at high speed. A specially modified Special Service Vehicle version is also available from Ford Fleet for law enforcement agencies, fire departments, and EMS agencies. Explorer was also the name of a trim package offered on the Ford F-Series trucks from 1968 to 1986. The 2011 Ford Explorer was named North American Truck of the Year.

Ford Expedition Vehicle
The Ford Expedition is a full-size SUV built by the Ford Motor Company. Introduced in 1997 as a replacement to the Ford Bronco, it was previously slotted between the smaller Ford Explorer and the larger Ford Excursion, but as of the 2005 model year, it is Ford's largest and last truck-based, off-road and tow capable SUV. Ford currently offers the standard regular-sized model and the larger EL/Max model, succeeding the Excursion which was discontinued in 2005. It is the second Ford vehicle to use the Expedition name, as it was part of the Explorer Sport's trim models during the 1995 model year. All Expeditions were originally built in Wayne, Michigan. In 2009, Ford shifted its current third generation (2007–present) model production to Louisville, Kentucky as Ford has begun converting the Wayne assembly plant to start building the future production of the Focus.
The Expedition offered up to nine passenger seating in model years before 2007 (with a front bench seat option); 2007–present offer 2 bucket seats in the first row. It is equipped with a V8 engine. It is similar to the Lincoln Navigator, especially for the 2007–present model in Limited or King Ranch high end trims; both of which were introduced for the 2005 model year. With the 2011 model year Ford made changes in the base level department, with the newly designated XL trim a standard and upgrading the XLT to second level and replacing the Eddie Bauer trim that was phased out from the entire Ford vehicle lineup. Over 1,500,000 Expeditions have been sold since its introduction. A specially modified Special Service Vehicle version is also available from Ford for law enforcement agencies, fire departments, and EMS agencies.Ford Expedition Car

Honda Element Smart & Cool Cars
The Honda Element could have a somewhat quirky personality, however it certainly maintains its ultimate goal to be a practical, eco-friendly car for individuals who lead active lives. In case you are the type of drivers who would rather have options, the many possible seating combinations should keep you satisfied, and four-cylinder fuel economy along with a relatively low base price only increase the car’s appeal.
The Honda Element is part wagon, part SUV, part psychedelic milk truck. Anything, we as it. It’s cheap, exceptionally utilitarian, and comes with Honda reliability. In regards to its invest the vehicle universe, it reminds us a present day VW Microbus. That, too, was cheap, funky, and intensely practical. But unlike the Microbus, the Element is safe, plenty powerful, heated and cooled inside, as well as start each day.
The Honda Element is really getting long inside the tooth; the drive isn’t refined and also the interior could use some quality materials. Even technology isn’t quite approximately snuff. Not much of this matters though following a 100-mile bike ride or long week at the job when it’s possible to chuck the ball bikes or work supplies in the back with little fuss and many ease. It’s more difficult to do that using the SC, which trades function for a few flair, as well as that, the $24K price tag might not be worth the cost.
The Honda Element has some available security features that can help keep you safe and save a little money on auto insurance. The most crucial safety feature associated with a car, however, is definitely an able and aware driver.
The 2010 Honda Element LX comes with a five-speed automatic transmission, four-wheel disc brakes, five cup holders, air conditioning, AM/FM stereo with CD, rear defroster, rear privacy glass, dual power side mirrors, cruise control, tilt wheel, rear wiper/washer, power windows, steel wheels, side-curtain airbags, front side-impact airbags, a tire pressure monitoring system, anti-lock brakes (ABS) and Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA). The EX trim adds a five-speed manual (4WD only), alloy wheels plus a 270-watt, seven-speaker audio system with CD/MP3 capability, removable center console cooler, 16-inch alloy wheels plus an auxiliary input jack.
The 2011 Honda Element is focused on utility. In the event that’s the pain you are looking for, reviewers repeat the Element will satisfy you. But, buyers looking for comfort and refinement will likely need to look elsewhere. The 2011 Honda Element won’t win many street races having its modest four-cylinder engine, but it is smooth and entirely adequate for commuting and regular everyday use. About the move, the Element is surprisingly responsive and agile, though its ride is noticeably firmer than the average compact crossover. The Element’s box-on-wheels shape also pushes lots of air that generates a noticeable amount of wind noise at highway speeds.
The 2011 Honda Element has not been rated while using government’s new, more strenuous crash-testing procedures. Its 2010 ratings (which aren’t comparable to 2011 tests) were the perfect five stars for frontal- and side-impact protection. The insurance plan Institute for Highway Safety provides the Element a highest-possible score of “Good” in the frontal-offset and side-impact collision tests. When you are looking at power, the 2011 Honda Element boasts good punch having a 166-horsepower, 2.4-liter inline-four-cylinder engine that outputs 161 pounds-feet of torque and is mated to your five-speed automatic transmission. Both the LX and EX could be designed with either front- or all-wheel drive. Fuel economy is decent with 20 mpg within the city and 25 mpg while travelling along with the Element competes using the Ford Escape, Nissan Rogue, and Jeep Compass.
Safety comes standard in the 2011 Honda Element, which features standard side-impact airbags, side curtain airbags,
antilock brakes, as well as an electronic stability system with traction control as standard equipment. A backup camera is
optional. The 2011 Element comes in two trims, LX and EX, both of which can be purchased in front- or all-wheel drive
(Honda calls it four-wheel drive). Make sure you pay attention to current Honda Deals that could be entirely on the Honda
Element. The 2011 Honda Element is little-changed in the 2010 model. If you like the Element, you’ll need to get one this
coming year. Honda has announced that Element production can certainly following the 2011 model year.

Hennessey Cars
The new 2011 Hennessey Venom GT had been in testing for quiet a few months ago in England, and now its ready for final production with some close-up shots provided by Hennessey. As we know earlier that the 2011 Venom GT supercar is built on the Lotus Elise chassis and powered by the 6.2-liter LS9 V8 found in the Corvette ZR1.
Likewise of all Hennessey modified cars, there are three engine configurations available. The base model is a supercharged engine that produces about 725 horsepower and 741 lb-feet of torque. And the other two upper versions are both available in twin turbocharged that produce about 1,000 hp and 1,200 hp. The 2011 Hennessey Venom GT uses the same six-speed Ricardo transmission that found in the Ford GT. Due to the light weight of the Lotus chassis, the Venom weighs in at about 2,548 lbs.
With such light-weight and astronomical horsepower, the Hennessey Venom GT can sprint from 0 – 60 in just 2.2 seconds with top speed of 262 mph on a six-speed manual transmission. Compared to the Bugatti Veyron, it has an acceleration speed from 0 – 60 mph in 2.6 seconds with top speed of 253 mph. The Hennessey Venom GT may be a Bugatti Veyron-killer.
Serious power requires serious dinero, the 2011 Hennessey Venom GT is not cheap like other Hennessey supercars. It clocks in at around $600,000 a piece, and Hennessey intended to build only ten Venoms per year. Check out the press release below if you like to crunch the numbers.
Hennessey Performance Engineering based out of Texas (HPE) introduced the Corvette ZR1 to the new 2010 Chevrolet Camaro and it’s a monster. This limited edition Camaro will sport 705 horsepower which matches the likings of other Hennessey projects such as the Godzilla 700 Nissan GT-R and others.
The new LS9 engine from the ZR1 in supercharged form will be used in this beast along with other components from the ZR1 such as the carbon ceramic breaks, HRE wheels and even the clear hood scoop so you can show off to your friends what you are really packing.
Believe it or not, this is supposed to be a packaged offered at your local Chevrolet dealership. This isn’t your run-of-the-mill bolt-ons, this is major work considering the price tag of $109,000.
